Dark Vision 60 ft: Tik – tik has the extraordinary ability to see with no light source at all, out to a range of 60 ft. Darkvision is black and white only (colors cannot be discerned). It does not allow characters to see anything that they could not see otherwise—invisible objects are still invisible, and illusions are still visible as what they seem to be. Likewise, darkvision subjects a creature to gaze attacks normally. The presence of light does not spoil darkvision.

Psionic Powers(Ex):

Chameleon: Tik -tik can psionically make it’s skin & equipment take on the color & texture of nearby objects, including the walls & floors. It gains a + 10 enhancement bonus on hide checks.

Know Direction & Location: Tik – tik can generally determine where it is thru the use of this power, and is especially useful if it ends up at unfamiliar destinations. The general information about it’s current location is revealed as a feeling or presentiment. The information is usually no more detailed than a summary that locates it according to a prominent local or regional site, such as “approximately 20miles northwest of Far – View.” If no prominent sites are nearby, answers such as “adrift on the Western Ocean” are also possible, which at least provide some information about location. Using this power also tells Tik – Tik what direction it is facing.

Greater Concealing Amorpha: Tik – tik can distort it’s image & actual position by psionically weaving a quasi -real membrane around itself. This lasts for 1 round & gives it total concealment ( 50% miss chance when being attacked ).

Metaphysical Claw: Tik – tik can psionically enhance one of it’s claw attacks or it’s bite attack with a +1 enhancement bonus on attack rolls and damage rolls. This enhancement can last up to a minute for it.

Mutations (Ex): Tik – tik has the ff. mutations & drawbacks.

Claws: Tik – tik’s hands have mutated into claws granting it a claw attack that deals 1d6 points of slashing damage. It typically uses this as it’s main melee attack & is it’s primary attack when attacking multiple times in a combat round. It is considered a natural weapon that does not provoke attacks of opportunity.

Combat Fear: Tik – tik developed a chemical imbalance in it’s brain & is gripped by an inexplicable fear whenever faced with a dangerous situation. After initiative is rolled but before it’s first action in combat, Tik – tik must make a WILL saving throw ( DC 15 ). Failing this saving throw will makes it shaken during the entirety of the encounter, taking a – 2 penalty on all it’s attack rolls, saving throws, & skill checks.

Forked Tongue: A cosmetic mutation, Tik – tik has a green forked tongue, much like that of a snake.

*Great Horns: Tik – tik has sprouted great horns that are pointed much like a bull’s. This gives it a gore attack which inflicts 1d6 points of piercing damage. It typically uses this as a secondary weapon when attacking with it’s claws. It’s horns are considered as natural weapons that do not provoke attacks of opportunity.

Lost Arm: the right upper arm of tik – tik ends up in a stump, up to what was it’s elbow. But since tik – tik still has 3 remaining arms, plus a tail & a tentacle that is capable of limited manipulation, he doesn’t acquire the – 2 penalty on STR checks for climbing, swimming, or grappling.

**Tail: Tik – tik has grown a scaly tail much like that of a lizard’s. The tail provides it with a + 2 mutation bonus on all it’s balance checks plus it uses it as a tail slam attack that inflicts 1d6 points of bludgeoning damage. It typically uses it’s tailslap attack as a secondary weapon along with it’s gore attack, when attacking with it’s claws as it’s primary attack. It’s tail is considered a natural weapon that does not provoke attacks of opportunity.

Tentacle – Tik -tik has also grown a simple scaly pseudopod of a tentacle on it’s front abdominal area, a little to the lower right. It can grasp & manipulate simple objects up to medium sized category with it, although it can’t use it to operate any piece of equipment that requires opposable digits or fine motor control ( like a cellphone ). Tik – tik can hang from this tentacle if its wrapped up around a larger object, which also frees up all it’s other limbs. Although it can’t be used to fire ranged weapoons, Tik – tik does get to make a slam attack with it, inflicting 1d6 pts. of bludgeoning damage. It typically uses this slam attack as a secondary weapon, along with it’s gore, bite, & tailslap attack, when in melee, to supplement it’s claw attacks which are it’s primary weapons. It’s tentacle slam attack is considered a natural weapon that doesn’t provoke attacks of opportunity. Furthermore it has a reach of 10 ft., making it able to threaten & attack opponents with it up to 10 ft. distant when in melee.

Unnatural Skin: Tik – tik’s exoskeleton exhibits a color drastically different from other Thri -Kreen. It is an albino Thri – Kreen, with it’s carapace a ghostly white in colour & is even somewhat transparent, partially revealing the veins, arteries, muscles, tissues, nerves & organs within it’s body.

Radiation Resistance (Ex): Tik – tik treats an irradiated area or radiation source as two degrees weaker for the purposes of determining radiation exposure.

Thin Skin: Tik – tik’s unnatural skin is also thinner than normal &;is thus more susceptible to harm. It takes 1 additional point of damage each time it is wounded.

One Unique Thing: Tik – tik’s upper right hand was cut off by a thug biker of a rival band of marauders in the days that it was one of them. That was one incident, plus some others that made him move on away from the feudal areas to become a mercenary based in the area controlled by the mutant arm of radillos. The biker thug who cut up his right hand from the fore arm down has since become one of the 10 barons who head the marauders, with the former makati Ave centered on what was once the burgos district as his territory. Tik – tik knows this & keeps it in mind, ready for that day that an opportunity be given to him to cut off more than just the right forearm of that once biker thug, now a road baron of the marauders.

Tik – tik was formerly one of countless garden varieties of grasshopper. ‘It’ somehow survived the apocalypse and mutated into something else, something intelligent, something with a knack for facing adversity, taking advantage of any opportunity to get ahead, to survive, and easily picking up all the necessary skills for this, perhaps owing largely to the strange but powerful physical form to which it has evolved into.

Thus owing allegiance first & foremost to itself for it’s own survival, it was not long before Tik – tik saw the convenience to work with other intelligent humanoids when such cooperative effort is very beneficial to it. And so Tik – tik has since worked with a lot of groups, sticking around until it is no longer of maximum benefit to it, which usually happens when the group’s composition has dwindled away to a few remaining members, or if the group, for any no. of reasons, suddenly becomes adverse to it. When tik – tik does work with a group ( whom it considers it’s current “clutch” ) it can be dynamically cooperative with its current compatriots, seeking the common benefit of all, most especially when it gives the greater benefit to itself.

Tik – tik also has a developed respect & reverence for the territory it or its current clutch happens to currently roam around in & call home. Creatures who despoil the land earn it’s enmity, often going out of it or it’s current clutch’s way to eliminate such creatures.

Tik – tik typically wears only the tool belt it has to carry it’s equipment, finding no use whatsoever for clothes that are worn by humans & other humanoids; it can only hamper it’s chameleon skin ability, merely conferring a + 2 instead of the standard + 4 bonus to hide checks it clothing is worn; it’s albino carapace is enough for it. Tik – tik is ovo – viviparous in reproducing itself.

Currently Tik – tik is going around seeking to hire itself to those who can provide the goods worthy of it’s services, at the same time looking for a new clutch that would take it in, so it could continue to survive.
